Directory data and sources

This notice covers the Dance Club directory and its integration in DejuApavi, DanceShoes and BDDance. It does not change the shops’ seller or order terms.
Creating and maintaining a publicly accessible directory of dance clubs and professional dance teachers to make dance services easier to find, support professional connections and provide reliable information about professional activities in dance.
Content and sources
Editors collect only organisation names, class locations, dance styles and verified general professional contacts from public official sources. Editorial cards identify the sources and the check date. Editors do not add private teachers’ personal details; teachers may submit their own profiles. An entry does not imply a partnership or the organisation’s approval.
Personal data and legal basis
Information about a legal entity must be distinguished from information about a person. Named work contacts and information that identifies a natural person can be personal data. Fields identifying a person are withheld without an established lawful basis and the required information. Data protection requests are processed to meet legal obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)); other enquiries are processed in our legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f)).
Visibility
Published cards are accessible worldwide, including to search engines and AI systems. Hosting and email providers process data for technical delivery. Request messages and the requester’s email are not published. The directory makes no automated decisions about people with legal effects.
Retention
A record is kept while needed for the directory’s purpose. After approved removal, a minimal private exclusion marker prevents reimport. Request data is retained only as needed to handle the request and document the outcome. Copies held by external search engines are outside our direct control.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction, object, or withdraw consent. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month, and notify you of any lawful extension. Applicable rights also include lodging a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
